The Arts Council Northern Ireland programme to provide support for the purchase of musical instruments by professional and non-professional performing groups to increase the quality of music-making in the community. Particular priority given to applications demonstrating commitment to training/tuition/education and performance, artistic development, and ability to increase access to music provision in rural areas.
Formally constituted not-for-profit performing groups, community organisations, schools, and youth organisations based in Northern Ireland that are regularly involved in music performance and have not received an award from this scheme in the previous 5 years.
