Artists and creatives engage with heritage narratives from six Southern African countries, reimagining them through a contemporary creative lens. Selected participants work in clusters with heritage organisations to develop three co-produced creative works, culminating in presentations at a local festival and a regional presentation festival. The programme is funded by the European Union and aims to strengthen cultural cooperation within Southern Africa and between Southern Africa and Europe.
Creative and artistic practitioners from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
Open to artists in Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi and others.
