What it is

A continuing education experience for emerging recording engineers integrating audio engineering learning into the Intercultural Music Residency: Soundweavings 2027. Participants develop technical proficiency through mentoring, class sessions, and professional practice in recording and post-production across various equipment and software while supporting musicians and Banff Centre's diverse recording needs.

Emerging audio recording engineers with formal training and/or professional experience or aptitude in audio engineering.

What you get

Five-week residency at Banff Centre including mentoring from international faculty, access to professionally equipped studios, live concert and studio recording experience, accommodation in private bedroom in shared facility, some meals provided, and CAD $8,031.45 scholarship (participants pay CAD $3,682.35 after scholarship).
