Contemporary Music Touring Program

What it is

The Contemporary Music Touring Program supports national touring activity undertaken by Australian musicians performing original Australian contemporary music. Tours must comprise performances in at least three venues or locations outside of the performer's hometown. Tours that include regional and remote destinations, or which assist performers residing in regional and remote areas to tour, are a priority for funding.

What you get

Grants between $5,000 to $50,000 depending on tour locations, to support national tours with performances in at least three venues or locations outside the performer's hometown.

What you need to apply

• Tour itinerary and details including venue locations, dates and number of performances
• Budget detailing all eligible costs associated with the touring activity
• Brief bio or curriculum vitae summary of any additional artists involved, maximum two pages total
• Up to three URLs (weblinks) to written material, images, video or audio as a recent example of work, 3 required
• Up to five letters of support from proposed participants, maximum five pages total, 5 required
• Evidence of environmental impact plan if applicable
