What it is

A 12-month curatorial fellowship at HBK Braunschweig to develop and realise a curatorial concept for the final exhibition of the Braunschweig Projects programme 2027/2028, ideally connected to a museum, collection, or cultural institution in Lower Saxony. The fellow will participate in selecting artistic fellows and work closely with them throughout the programme. Mandatory participation in Welcome Weeks (19–30 April 2027) and at least 8 months on-site during the HBK lecture period.

A 12-month fellowship comprising a monthly stipend of €1,600, a rent-free studio apartment in Braunschweig, a €250 monthly contribution towards living costs, up to €4,000 for exhibition activities, and €2,000 for travel.
