Textile Art Biennial BIEN 2027 invites submissions of 3 works no more than 3 years old, thematically aligned with 'Traces of Grace' and created primarily in textiles or a medium referencing textiles through material, technique, or concept. Exhibition takes place in Slovenian cities Kranj, Tržič, Škofja Loka, and Jesenice.
Artists, designers, and researchers from around the world, including artist collectives.
Open to artists anywhere.

Exhibition presentation with all costs covered including insurance and installation; one selected artist or collective receives a residency in Kranj of up to 4 weeks in 2028 or 2029 with travel, accommodation, per diem, and production costs covered; ETA Award winners under 29 receive either a 2-week residency in Kranj or a 1-week residency at Lottozero textile laboratory in Prato, Italy.
