What you get

A 3 or 6 week self-directed artist-funded residency in Tetouan, Morocco with a shared or private studio, studio facilities, weekly artist lunches, arrival/departure ground transportation, medina walking tour, artisan visit, introductory Moroccan Arabic lesson, community networking, and open studios event. Travel, housing, most meals, and supplies are not included.

What you need to apply

• Artist Statement
• Portfolio - 5 files representing recent work OR 1 file with 5+ works embedded (PDF, JPG, PNG, mp3 or mp4), 5 required
• Headshot Photo (1200x1200px minimum)
• Experience interacting with people of cultures different from your own; benefits and challenges of residency in another culture
• Reasons for wanting to participate in a residency program in Morocco
• Creative medium and area of practice
• Project proposal - how you would use your residency time; 2-3 paragraphs
• Studio needs - furniture, tools, materials, equipment required
• Interest in sharing work or skills with local community through workshop or event
• How you learned about Green Olive Arts
• Availability during the week for follow-up interview
