Green Olive Arts, an international art studio in Tetouan, Morocco, offers 3-week artist-funded residencies with shared (10,000 MAD) or private (15,000 MAD) studios. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis for 8 available studio spaces.

What you get

A 3-week self-directed artist-funded residency with shared or private studio space, equipped common areas, arrival/departure ground transportation, weekly artist lunches, medina walking tour, artisan visits, open studios event, and community networking; travel, housing, and most meals not included.

• CV or Resume
• Artist Statement
• Portfolio - 5 files representing recent work OR 1 file with 5+ works embedded (PDF, JPG, PNG, mp3, or mp4), 5 required
• Headshot photo (1200x1200px minimum)
• Project proposal describing how you would use your time at Green Olive Arts, up to 3 words
• Experience interacting with people of cultures different from your own and benefits/challenges of residency in another culture, up to 2 words
• Reasons for wanting to participate in a residency in Morocco
• Creative medium or area of practice
• Studio needs - furniture, tools, materials, equipment required
• Interest in sharing work or skills with local community through workshops or events, up to 1 words
• How you learned about Green Olive Arts
• Availability for follow-up interview
