An additional grant for Toronto Arts Council grant recipients to cover accessibility accommodations for Deaf artists and artists with disabilities. Eligible expenses include sign language interpretation, audio description, captioning, communications assistants, support workers, attendant care, transportation, equipment and technology rentals, software licenses, and other supports required to meet accessibility needs. This grant does not fund audience accessibility costs, capital purchases, artist fees, or support for writing grant applications.
Toronto Arts Council grant recipients who are Deaf or living with disability, or who work with key project contributors identifying as Deaf or disabled, on a specific project within the 2-year window from notification.
Open to artists in Canada.
