What it is

This grant provides remuneration for authors invited to take part in residencies hosted within schools or other educational establishments. It supports writers who wish to engage with students through extended in-school residency work. The funding covers the author's time and involvement in the residency program.

Who it is for

Francophone authors with at least one published work distributed through French bookstores in literary domains supported by the CNL.

What you get

A bourse of €2,000 gross to conduct a six-session author residency in a school over one to three months, with the school providing accommodation, meals, travel, and mediation.
