What it is

Perform Europe is a €1.4 million co-funded programme by the European Union that aims to reinvent cross-border artistic distribution and touring in 41 Creative Europe countries to make them more sustainable, inclusive and equitable. Projects must address two major priorities (one as primary, one as secondary): inclusion and diversity, and climate change action. All proposals must demonstrate quality, innovation, equity and seek to integrate geographically underrepresented regions.

Who it is for

Partnerships of at least 3 organizations or independent professionals legally established in at least 3 different Creative Europe countries, working in theatre, dance, performance, circus, street and public space arts, or puppetry.

Open to artists in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and others.

What you get

Grants of €15,000, €25,000, or €55,000 plus additional funding up to €5,000 for accessibility and sustainability needs, to support cross-border touring and presentations of existing artistic works.

What you need to apply

• Project proposal including at least one existing artwork or finished artistic concept ready for presentation, with minimum 3 presentations (physical, digital or hybrid) in at least 3 different Creative Europe countries
• Balanced budget in euros (expenditure = income)
• Application form completed in English
• Evidence of partnership composition with minimum 3 partners legally established in at least 3 different Creative Europe countries, with designated Lead Partner
