Recognition program supports First Nations artists in reappropriation, reconstruction and development of traditional and contemporary arts, with three components: Impetus (first grant for emerging artists), Microgrant (simplified early career support with mentoring), and Revitalization, creation and transmission (career-long support across all project phases).

Inuit or First Nations artists of Canada who are committed to their artistic practice and have participated in, produced, or distributed work outside training in a peer or community-recognized context.
